During the first phase, The Etiological Phase, our team will focus on controlling the infection that is present and will restore as much of the healthy microbiota that should be there. Our team will also do an exam to see what may be causing this infection so you can address the root of the problem and prevent it from happening again. If the first set of treatments are not effective at helping treat the periodontal disease, then our team will discuss some of the surgical options in the Surgical phase.
